Sirona Recovery Inc. seeks a Milwaukee County Jail Screening Specialist for 1st shift to assess needs of arrested individuals and determine risk for pretrial misconduct using actuarial tools.

The role involves preparing detailed reports used by the court to decide bail and release conditions. The position requires interviewing defendants, performing risk assessments, maintaining records, and supporting GPS monitoring as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as stated or an Associate’s degree with experience.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile with insurance.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete face-to-face interviews and pretrial risk assessments for defendants booked into Milwaukee County Jail.
• Conduct accurate criminal history and records checks and prepare written reports for court submission.
• Enter and maintain case information in the electronic database and assist with GPS monitoring programs outside business hours.
• Provide recommendations for bail and release conditions; assist with release for individuals to Pretrial Supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
