The Frick Collection in New York invites applications for a one-year Alexis Gregory Fellow in European Decorative Arts. Candidates with a master’s degree or enrolled in a Ph.D.

in art history are encouraged to apply to pursue a curatorial career in a premier museum. The fellowship offers object-based research opportunities, collaboration with the Curatorial Department, and exposure to exhibitions, publications, and educational programming.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD candidate in art history (European decorative arts).
• Strong academic credentials and research/writing ability.
• Experience with object-based research in a museum context preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support projects managed by the Curatorial Department for permanent displays and exhibitions.
• Conduct research for exhibitions and write texts for Frick publications.
• Assist with educational programming and daily administrative tasks.
