Job summary

Huhtamaki in Albertville, Alabama is seeking a manufacturing associate to operate pressware and related packout equipment on a rotating 12-hour shift. You’ll help maintain safety, attendance, productivity and quality while supporting production records and problem solving.

The role is in a manufacturing environment where PPE is required and teamwork is essential. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a focus on reliability and physical stamina to lift up to 35 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of lifting up to 35 lbs 70% of the time.
• Able to stand/walk for most of the shift.
• Wears PPE as required.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts (12 hours per day, 42 hours per week).

Job Qualifications

Required

• Physically capable of moderate to heavy effort of frequently lifting or moving lightweight materials of over 5lbs and up to 35lbs, 70% of the time.
• Physically capable of standing and walking over 50% of working time.
• Continuous mental and visual attention performing diversified operations or activities requiring constant alertness or activity.
• Work a rotating work schedule which consists of 12 hours per day - 42 hours per week.
• Wear PPE as required.

Preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
