Job summary

The Lewis Group is seeking an overnight Environmental Services Technician to perform industrial cleaning duties in accordance with company and client policies. You will follow the Field Supervisor’s directions and maintain safety and quality goals while working in varying weather and seasonality.

The role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to OSHA rules, and the ability to travel up to 60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license.
• Must be clean shaven.
• 40 hours OSHA and related safety training is a plus, but will be provided if necessary.
• DOT Examiner’s Certificate is required.

• Perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks.

• Adhere to all regulations and procedures regarding the handling of Haz and Non-Haz materials.
• Additional responsibilities will be shared with qualified applicants during the interview process.
• Travel time of 60% (during certain time periods based on seasonality)

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be clean shaven
• Strong focus on Safety, Quality, Accountability, Integrity, and Teamwork.
• 40 Hours OSHA and related Safety Training is a plus, but will be provided if necessary
• DOT Examiner’s Certificate is required but candidate will be sent for testing (drug, alcohol and physical)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Ability to work in severe weather conditions both hot and cold
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to wear respirators as needed
• Work and travel in inclement weather
• Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor 50-70% of the time
• Able to tolerate exposure to moderate noise levels
