A shift: Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and instruction to Junior technicians on test methods and vibration control installation techniques.
- Conduct environmental stress screening (thermal, vibration, pressure) on flight hardware following company procedures.
- Assist with installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vibration tables, thermal chambers, pressure systems, and DAQ equipment, including PTs, TCs, and flow meters.
- Coordinate with test engineers and engage with management on daily test activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform maintenance on equipment and work areas according to 5S standards.
- Set up and operate systems safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage multiple test projects concurrently, supporting operational schedules.
- Configure test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation as per test plans and standards.
- Identify and communicate risks related to cost, schedule, and technical aspects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of environmental testing experience or competence in Vibration, Shock, or Specification Performance.
- High school diploma or GED with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including work prioritization and scheduling.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to ambiguity, and foster positive relationships.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and testing processes.
- Experience with data acquisition, analysis, and processing.
- Experience reading drawings, shop orders, and detailed instructions.
- Experience with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic test equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. (citizen, Green Card, refugee, or asylum status).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or technical degree in a relevant field.
- Experience designing and fabricating test equipment.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems, Non-conformance systems, and scheduling systems.
- Experience maintaining calibrated equipment.
- Knowledge of GSE/Fittings.
- Ability to work with various test instrumentation and control components.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with LabVIEW, Test Stand, and similar platforms.
