Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience operating pressure pumping or similar oilfield equipment.
• Knowledge of frac procedures and safe handling of chemical systems.
• Commitment to safety and PPE usage; participate in safety meetings.
• Ability to work physically demanding outdoor work, outdoors in all weather.
• Good communication and teamwork to coordinate with crew and supervisors.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; CDL and prior oilfield experience preferred.

Role Description The Pressure Pump Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Odessa, TX. In this position, the operator is responsible for safely operating pressure pumping equipment, monitoring gauges and controls, and adjusting pumping parameters to meet job specifications. Daily tasks include rigging up and rigging down equipment, performing pre- and post-job inspections, and coordinating with field supervisors and crew members to ensure efficient and compliant operations. The operator will help mix and handle chemical systems as required, complete job and maintenance reports, and follow all safety procedures and environmental guidelines. This role involves working extended hours, including nights and weekends, and performing physical tasks in varying weather and field conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating pressure pumping or similar oilfield equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
• Knowledge of oilfield operations, frac procedures, and safe handling of chemical systems, or willingness to learn under supervision.
• Commitment to safety, including adherence to company policies, use of PPE, and participation in safety meetings and training.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with crew members and supervisors in fast-paced field environments.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL and prior oilfield experience are preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in oilfield or mechanical fields is a plus.
