100Hires, Inc. seeks a Quality Systems Manager to establish and lead a world‑class QMS aligned with ASME, AWS, API and client standards across shop and field operations.

You will publish ITPs, QCPs, WPSs and PQRs, manage NCR/CAR cycles, and supervise NDE activities while coordinating hydrostatic and pneumatic tests to code. You’ll also train QC staff and ensure seamless code compliance.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related; AS with relevant experience considered.
  • Experience: 8+ years in QA/QC for industrial piping construction/fabrication.
  • 5+ years leading QC on union projects.
  • Leadership of ASME B31.1/B31.3 programs and related codes.

Responsibilities

  • Establish QMS aligned with ASME, AWS, API, and client standards.
  • Publish ITPs, QCPs, WPSs, and PQRs; maintain document control, NCRs, and CAR/PAR cycles.
  • Direct NDE (RT/UT/MT/PT/VT/ PMI) and accept results; lead hydrostatic, pneumatic, leak, and functional testing to code.
  • Act as Code Authority; navigate ASME B31.1/B31.3/B31.9; secure permits and stamps when required.
  • Recruit and coach QC Inspectors/Coordinators; train teams; interface with project management and field supervision.

Pressure Piping Quality Systems Manager (ASME/CWI)Our mission is simple: deliver safe, code-compliant piping systems—from high-purity to steam and cryogenic—that perform flawlessly. As our Quality Systems Manager, you’ll be the force that turns that mission into daily practice across shop and field.How you’ll advance the missionEstablish world-class controls: Architect and refine a QMS aligned with ASME, AWS, API, and client standards; publish ITPs, QCPs, WPSs, and PQRs; maintain airtight document control, NCRs, and CAR/PAR cycles. Protect weld integrity: Own welder/operator qualifications per ASME Section IX/AWS; coordinate destructive/NDE testing; manage weld mapping, joint tracking, and heat treatment documentation. Assure fit-for-service systems: Direct NDE (RT, UT, MT, PT, VT, PMI) and accept results; lead hydrostatic, pneumatic, leak, and functional testing to code and spec. Uphold the code: Act as designated Code Authority; navigate ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.9, B31.12; ASME Section I & VIII; OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926; secure permits and stamps when required. Earn trust: Serve as primary quality contact for clients, owner reps, and regulators; drive preconstruction/constructability input; resolve RFIs/NCRs; present KPIs and trends.
