Job summary

Marie Leising & Associates, LLC is seeking a seasoned Pressroom Manager-Sheetfed in Tennessee to lead a 18-20 operator team across 3 shifts in a busy printing operation.

You will oversee scheduling, maintenance, vendor relations, and staff development while ensuring on-time production and adherence to client specifications. A strong background in sheetfed offset printing and Lean/CI practices is essential. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years leadership in 40" sheetfed printing operations.
• 7–10 years experience in sheetfed offset printing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience training, mentoring, and developing employees.
• Strong leadership and attention to detail.
• Lean Manufacturing or CI practices a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead 18-20 press operators across 3 shifts.
• Schedule and oversee jobs to meet client specs and deadlines.
• Train, hire, and discipline pressroom staff as needed.
• Schedule maintenance and preventive maintenance on presses.
• Troubleshoot press issues and repairs.

Job Description

Premier printing and direct mail marketing company in TN is busy. Due to client demand they are hiring a Sheetfed Pressroom Manager to oversee printing operations. Responsibilities include: Direct and lead 18 - 20 press operators on multiple 40" sheetfed presses over 3 shifts. Schedule and oversee jobs ensuring orders are produced on time according to client specifications. Train, hire, and discipline pressroom employees as needed. Schedule maintenance and preventative maintenance on presses. Assist with troubleshooting press issues and repairs. Order pressroom consumables materials and maintain inventories. Work closely with vendors. Work with plant and production managers to stay on schedule. Qualifications include: Minimum 3 - 5 years' leadership experience in 40" sheetfed printing operations. Minimum 7- 10 years' experience in sheetfed offset printing. Excellent communication skills. Employee training, mentoring, and development experience. Strong leadership skills. Attention to detail and quality standards. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience ordering pressroom materials and working with vendors.
