Assistant Press Operator - CTMS

Starting Pay: $23.47-$29.50 per hour (Day Shift) + 7% Night Shift Premium Location: Crawfordsville, IN (North Plant: 1009 Sloan Street | South Plant: 600 State Road 32 West) Work Schedule: 8 and 10 hour shifts | Monday-Friday | Day Shift - Flexing to Nights as needed

About the Role:

As our Assistant Press Operator, you will support press operations, ensure quality, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the Press Operator and receive on-the-job training to help advance your career.

  • Assist Press Operator with press setup and make-ready tasks
  • Operate & maintain web offset printing presses
  • Install plates and blankets to ensure high-quality output
  • Make necessary color or register adjustments
  • Assist in replacing press rollers using hand tools
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
What We're Looking For:
  • Mechanical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical adjustments on equipment
  • Technical Knowledge: General experience with web offset printing presses preferred
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring high-quality production output
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Physical & Technical Requirements:
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. Frequently
  • Endurance: Must be able to stand for the entire shift (12 hours)
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read job specifications, perform maintenance, read a micrometer, and use basic math & computer skills
