Job summary

Dayton Rogers in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an experienced Press Room Lead to oversee daily production and support the Press Room team. You will coordinate employees and production activities to ensure parts are produced safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications.

Pay is $25.00–$29.00 per hour, based on experience. The role requires strong leadership and a solid manufacturing background with proficiency in handling press room equipment and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of related manufacturing experience or equivalent training preferred.
• Press room, metal stamping, or metal forming experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing equipment and tools.
• Understanding of production processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous lead, training, or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Press Room activities and keep production on schedule.
• Assign work and coordinate production priorities.
• Promote and enforce company safety procedures.
• Monitor production, materials, and equipment for quality or operational issues.
• Train employees on equipment, work procedures, and safety requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to Press Room employees throughout the shift.
• Troubleshoot production issues and help determine solutions.
• Communicate production, quality, staffing, and equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Help maintain an organized, productive, and team-focused work environment.
• Perform other production duties as needed.
