Job description

Join to apply for the Press Oven Material Handler I--Nights role at Wolverine Industries.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Staging prepack material in the packing queue according to shipment schedules.
  2. Removing packed goods from the line to the shipping area.
  3. Managing racks at the extrusion press and pre-age queue.
  4. Loading and unloading finished goods and materials, assisting drivers as needed.
  5. Managing scrap movement and ensuring safety and proper loading.
  6. Loading and unloading the age oven, managing queue systems.
  7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements include verifying incoming deliveries, labeling products, maintaining inventory, handling returns, and conducting equipment maintenance.

Skills & Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Forklift and crane certification (preferred experience with forklifts and side loaders).
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and occasional overtime.
  • Ability to read production documents, basic math, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Physical requirements involve working in a production environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and temperature variations, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing physical tasks on 12-hour shifts.

This position is at an entry level, full-time, within the management and manufacturing sectors, in the mining industry.
