Job summary

F & P America Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a press operator to handle press operations per set standards and work instructions. You will also operate Fanuc robots, perform safety checks, and record production data in the system.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 10 lbs, and read labels and instructions. Overtime, including weekends, may be required; forklift certification is preferred and PPE must be worn at all times.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Performs press operations in accordance with Operation Standards and Work Instructions.
• Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor.
• Operates Fanuc robots.
• Conducts press operation safety checks on prescribed intervals.
• May perform minor maintenance and machine adjustments.
• Records production data in the system.
• Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).
• Other duties as assigned to maintain production.

Qualifications:

• Follows all safety requirements of the company – PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviors, etc.
• Able to safely and efficiently operate a forklift by passing forklift training class and obtaining license.
• Able to read and understand operation standards, job instructions and product labels.
• Regularly required to lift up to 10 lbs
• Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas.
• Willing and available to work overtime, as needed, including weekends
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Regularly exposed to dust, odors, noise, etc.
