The Press Operator is a vital team member responsible for manufacturing printed labels, monitoring quality, and maintaining press conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and guidelines
  • Report safety concerns to supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete make-ready according to Job Ticket and Product Specification documents
  • Perform quality checks to ensure product specifications and visual standards
  • Operate press to meet customer specifications, maintaining quality, waste reduction, and efficiency
  • Ensure consistent quality during production, focusing on copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion
  • Follow procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as per BRC standards
  • Complete press make-ready efficiently
  • Perform equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Input data into the GlobeTeksystem accurately and promptly
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience or training as a printing press operator
  • Physical requirements: standing, feeling, reaching, talking, hearing
  • Frequent walking; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly
