• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality control standards.
• Mechanical aptitude for minor maintenance and adjustments on machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor presses per production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform setup, adjustment and minor maintenance of presses.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and adjust to meet specs.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex problems to supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Press Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot various types of presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor maintenance and adjustments on machinery.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Forklift certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface
