Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking a Press Operator to produce Pixies and Stik-Stakes and assist on the Sanki UV Letterpress. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor, while mentoring others and maintaining lean process standards.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to read instructions. Overtime may be required as part of production planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 1-year certificate from college/technical school preferred.
• Six months' related experience or training required.

Responsibilities

• Operate printing press to produce Pixies and Stik-Stakes and related products.
• Track inventory and order tooling as needed.
• Maximize run speeds by identifying constraints.
• Schedule machine priority and oversee Press-Helper.
• Train and mentor new and seasoned operators.
• Monitor press safety and ensure GMP compliance.
• Oversee product quality including color and ink adhesion.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete paperwork.
