Job Description

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Lead all aspects of press line operations, including changeovers, machine start-up, running, and shut-down.
• Support operations in becoming World Class, beginning with Safety.
• Operate according to customer specifications, manufacturing standards, print specifications, color folders, and SOPs.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork, including production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets, S.O.C sheets, and others as assigned.
• Coordinate with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize change-over and downtime.
• Train and supervise the press assistant to ensure efficiency in all duties as per the training matrix.
• Understand and uphold product safety standards.
• Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift up to 50-60 lbs.
• Stand and walk for an 8-12 hour shift.
• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
• Use of wrists and hands frequently.
• Step up and down from platforms regularly.
• Reasonable accommodations will be considered.
