Press Operator - OPEN INTERVIEWS EVERY TUESDAY - 10AM - 1PM

Join us for open interviews every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm for the role of Press Operator at AUTOKINITON.

Located in Avon, Ohio, AUTOKINITON is a Michigan-based automotive company specializing in manufacturing high-quality, structural automotive components with a focus on operational excellence and customer service. We offer full vertical integration, including engineering, manufacturing, and in-house logistics, and have a proud Tier 1 supplier legacy worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and set up large stamping presses, including progressive and transfer presses.
• Assemble, install, and align dies according to specifications, working with die setters.
• Complete setup and adjustments of metal coils on mandrels.
• Start presses and monitor operations to detect misalignment or malfunctions.
• Inspect workpieces for conformance to specifications and adjust machines as needed.
• Use gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other quality tools.
• Document job processes, provide updates, and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Learn and understand various manufactured parts and labeling processes.
• Troubleshoot tools and settings as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent training/experience.
• One to three months of related experience preferred.
