Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior press experience needed; on-the-job training provided.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn printing press operations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment and production issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely handle production materials and operate equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up printing presses by loading ink, paper, and production materials.
• Adjust press settings under the direction of the Press Operator to meet job specifications.
• Monitor press operations and identify equipment issues or production concerns.
• Load and unload paper rolls, sheets, and other materials.
• Prepare and stage materials for production runs.
• Stack, sort, inspect, and package finished printed products.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure printed materials meet specifications.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on printing presses and work areas.
• Maintain production records and assist with inventory of printing supplies.
• Follow all company safety procedures and support production goals as part of the press team.
