Job summary

Datwyler is seeking a Press Operator - Injection in the United States for our injection molding operations. The role focuses on setting up and operating injection molding presses to manufacture components for healthcare and mobility markets.

You will follow work orders, maintain safety rules, and perform process studies and first articles under engineering instructions. The job requires a high school diploma and a willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but may consider other backgrounds for entry level position.
• Must have strong work ethic, professional attitude, be detail oriented as well as reliable.

Responsibilities

• Follows and signs work orders.
• If required, completes work order changes.
• Follows Safety Rules.
• Follows engineering instructions to complete process studies, pilot productions, and first articles.
• Sets up an injection molding press.
• Molds parts using an injection molding press.
• Changes molding conditions if required.
• Returns unused compounded material to mixing department.

Primary Responsibilities

• Follows and signs work orders
• If required, completes work order changes
• Follows Safety Rules
• Follows engineering instructions to complete process studies, pilot productions, and first articles

The Press Operator may perform any of the following operations

• Sets up an injection molding press
• Molds parts using an injection molding press
• Changes molding conditions if required
• Returns unused compounded material to mixing department

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Must have strong work ethic, professional attitude, be detail oriented as well as reliable

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in an area where temperature varies from 60 to 105°F
• Must be able to stand on concrete floor up to 10 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
