Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, machine operation, or metal forming experience.
• Ability to read basic blueprints, routers, or work instructions.
• Basic math skills including fractions and measurements.
• Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic straightening presses according to job specifications.
• Install and align tooling, dies, and fixtures for production runs.
• Load raw materials and monitor machine cycles for consistent output.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure parts meet print specifications.
• Adjust machine parameters (tonnage, speed, feed, etc.) to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, tool inspection).
• Record production data including scrap, uptime, and output.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements; maintain 5S workspace.
