Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a dedicated Press Operator for a leading custom print manufacturing organization in Anderson, SC. This temporary/full-time position offers a 1st shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a pay range of $15-$19 per hour DOE.

The role involves loading paper and ink, adjusting plates and cylinders, and ensuring production quality. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, possibly technical education in mechanics, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, stand

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical education in mechanics or related field is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, bend, stoop, and reach comfortably.
• Must stand for extended periods and perform well under deadline constraints.
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, good color perception, and vision corrected to 20/20.

Responsibilities

• Follow all procedures outlined in the Departmental Work Instructions to ensure quality and safety.
• Adhere to the production schedule set by the Plate Mounter/Lead Press Operator or the Production Supervisor.
• Review job tickets prior to press runs to confirm specifications and requirements.
• Load paper and ink as required, install and adjust plate and die cylinders, and make necessary adjustments during production.
• Operate the press and related equipment efficiently, ensuring jobs are produced according to specifications and quality standards.
