Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Press Operator A to manage the full operation of a single printing press within the department. You will work under the Shift Supervisor or Lead Operator to maintain run rate and product quality in a safe, clean environment.

The role requires attention to set-ups, color matching, and quick troubleshooting, with willingness to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma preferred; plastics/film press experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs set-ups on assigned press.
• Performs set-up and uses web guide.
• Identifies press issues and stops when necessary.
• Matches and maintains proper color.
• Identifies press issues and stops for bad print.
• Identifies poor print and corrects it.
• Sets print and adjusts register.
• Adjusts treatment on the press.
• Performs minor press troubleshooting.
• Understands and executes all job card instructions.
• Plans daily work with Shift Supervisor or Lead Operator.
• Reports all issues to the Lead Operator.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures.
• Adheres to quality control procedures.
• Adheres to scrap control procedures.
• Assists management in maintaining quality system effectiveness.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
