Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC is seeking a Press Operator to monitor and perform minor adjustments on press equipment and inspect tile in our manufacturing environment. The role requires the ability to read and follow SOPs, with attention to quality and safety standards.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally 1 year of manufacturing/production experience. Strong communication and record-keeping skills will help ensure smooth operations on the factory floor.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking aPress Operatorto join ourMFGTEAM! As thePress Operator,we need someonetomonitor and perform minor adjustments on press equipment and inspect tile.

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Major Function and Scope

• Monitors efficient operation of press equipment.


• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.


• Performs minor adjustments to equipment as needed.


• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.


• Follows standard operating procedures.


• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.


• Performs Other Related Duties As Required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.


• 1-yearprevious Manufacturing/production Experiencepreferred.

Competencies

• Good oral and written communications skills.

• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
