Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Press Operator to monitor and adjust press equipment and inspect tile on the manufacturing line. You will operate various equipment and ensure quality in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred. Strong communication, record-keeping, and measurement skills are essential, and you must understand and speak basic English.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Press Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Press Operator, we need someone to monitor and perform minor adjustments on press equipment and inspect tile.

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Major Function and Scope

• Monitors efficient operation of press equipment.
• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs Other Related Duties As Required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1-year Previous Manufacturing/production Experience Preferred.

• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
