Press Operator

We are AUTOKINITON (pronounced auto-ken-i- TAHN )

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

  1. Inspect components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc.
  2. Inspect parts for quality defects.
  3. Measure parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  4. Perform first piece inspection of set-up parts as required by Quality Inspection Instructions and/or as directed by supervisor.

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Press Department team and reports to the Press Supervisor.

Required experience:

  1. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  2. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  3. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  4. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
