Qualifications

Overview

Responsible for the support and operation of the flexographic presses under the mentorship of the Press Lead and Press Lead Backup. IGT boasts the newest and largest flexo presses in the lottery instant ticket printing industry. Printing tickets on the world’s most sophisticated instant ticket presses give customers access to outstanding flexibility, on-demand production planning, the highest quality graphics, bulletproof security, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Reviews and interprets information on job-sheets and ensures accurate set up of the press
  • Select accurate Anilox rolls, printing stock and print sleeves
  • Prepare ink vats in accurate order to match print deck location and ink up press
  • Check quality specifications
  • Place roll tags on rolls
  • Responsible for ensuring the press units are operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards
  • Records and supervises all footage printed, pounds of ink used and quality samples
  • Mounts printing plates, adds ink, adjusts PH and viscosity of ink to maintain conformity and quality
  • May mix ink for custom colors as needed
  • Constantly supervises web inspection cameras and strobes to ensure print quality is meeting requirements
  • Responsible for adjusting plates and impression to ensure quality and accurate registration
  • Load and unload print sleeves from press and storage rack, and rolls of material from press
  • During print, operate the un-wider and loading rolls of substrate
Qualifications

Education Required(high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Required(years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)

5+ years of related mechanical, manufacturing and/or printing experience

Skills Required(software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)

  • Standing and walking for up to 12 hours during a shift
  • Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally throughout the shift
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, and twisting at the torso as required for the job
  • Demonstrating a basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Following detailed processes and procedures related to facility operations

Preferred Education, Experience or Skills(preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)

Knowledge of flexographic press operations preferred

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $43,992 - $85,134. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses . In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
