Seaway Printing Company Inc. is seeking entrants to run Heidelberg presses in a state-of-the-art pressroom. We’ll train you on the job until you can set up, make ready, and operate a Heidelberg on your own.

The facility is climate-controlled and designed for efficient production of magazines, books, journals, and manuals. Schedule 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, plus every third Saturday as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical sense and willingness to troubleshoot.
• Basic computer skills for job entry and machine controls.
• Team-first attitude and reliability.
• No printing experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Heidelberg is the name printers know, and at Seaway Printing it’s what you’ll run every shift. Our state-of-the‑art pressroom sits in a new, climate‑controlled building and is built around Heidelberg presses with the automation and controls that make great print possible.

You don’t need a printing background to start. You need to be dependable, curious about how machines work, and someone who takes pride in getting things right. We’ll pay you to learn, training you on the job until you can set up, make ready, and run a Heidelberg on your own.

Requirements

What you’ll bring

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions precisely
• Basic mechanical sense and willingness to troubleshoot
• Basic computer skills for job entry and machine controls
• A team-first attitude
• Preferred, but not required: manufacturing or printing experience, 3+ months of related experience or training, and a high school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)

• Ability to do basic troubleshooting when a piece of equipment or machinery is not functioning
• Interpret and follow directions with precision
• Basic computer skills for job detail input and machine operation
• Excellent collaborative skills

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. This is an active pressroom with a high noise level; hearing protection is provided.
