Job summary

Seaway Printing is seeking candidates to operate Heidelberg presses in a modern, climate-controlled facility in the Midwest. You’ll be trained on the job to set up, make ready, and run a Heidelberg press, with no printing background required. The role offers top-of-market pay, 8-hour shifts, and benefits from day 60.

Schedule is 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, plus every third Saturday as needed. We value dependability, curiosity about machinery, and pride in doing things right.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions precisely.
• Basic mechanical sense and willingness to troubleshoot.
• Basic computer skills for job entry and machine controls.
• A team-first attitude.
• Preferred, but not required: manufacturing or printing experience, 3+ months of related experience or training, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up, make ready, and run your assigned press.
• Run quality checks so every job meets customer standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and handle minor mechanical maintenance.
• Record production data accurately.
• Help hit daily production goals (OEE and on-time delivery).

Run Heidelberg presses in a state-of-the-art pressroom. We’ll train you.

Heidelberg is the name printers know, and at Seaway Printing it’s what you’ll run every shift. Our state-of-the‑art pressroom sits in a new, climate‑controlled building and is built around Heidelberg presses with the automation and controls that make great print possible.

You don’t need a printing background to start. You need to be dependable, curious about how machines work, and someone who takes pride in getting things right. We’ll pay you to learn, training you on the job until you can set up, make ready, and run a Heidelberg on your own.

Work Environment:
