Job Description

• Position offers a night shift premium of $3.00/hour
• Responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining press equipment
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, inspecting plates/cylinders for imperfections, and checking image positioning, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and registration
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality standards prior to production
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses, performing minor repairs and replacing worn parts as needed
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment, safety requirements, and the skills to perform related tasks
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and understand press capabilities to determine appropriate press usage and settings
• Skill to make precise control adjustments and perform routine maintenance
• Knowledge of proper packing pressure to ensure quality printing
• Proficiency in using micrometers for mounting and aligning printing plates

RRD's current salary range for this role is $39,520 to $52,000 per year, which may vary based on geographic location, education, skills, experience, performance, shift, and other factors. Compensation may include bonuses, commissions, or incentives.
