Job summary

MCC is seeking a Print Shop Press Operator in Wisconsin to operate our printing press, produce high-quality label products, and monitor press conditions to meet customer specifications.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork. Candidates should have at least 1 year of press experience, be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work with precision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years as a printing press operator experience and/or training.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Reports safety concerns or issues to their immediate supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment by daily housekeeping.
• Completes makeready per Job Ticket and Product Specification to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
• Performs quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional tests; press-side quality checks.
• Operates press to produce product per customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
• Maintains consistent quality during the production run with critical checks on copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion.
• Completes procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements per BRC standard.
• Carries out press makeready efficiently.
• Performs equipment maintenance duties.
• Cleans plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricates press as needed.
• Inputs required information into GlobeTek system for material usage and time accurately.
