Qualifications

Shift Schedule

Two shifts: Monday to Friday.

  • 1st shift: 5 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Job Summary

The Rubber Press Operator is responsible for operating compression or transfer molding presses to manufacture high-quality rubber components. This role ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate rubber molding presses (compression/transfer/injection) according to SOPs.
  • Load raw rubber materials and remove finished molded parts from presses.
  • Inspect parts for defects such as flash, voids, or incomplete curing.
  • Trim excess material (flash) using hand tools or trimming equipment.
  • Monitor press temperature, pressure, and cycle times.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments as needed within training limits.
  • Follow production schedules and meet hourly output targets.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area (5S standards).
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs, recording output, quality checks, and any machine adjustments made during operations.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and improve processes.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Direct experience operating and troubleshooting rubber molding equipment.
  • Previous experience as a Rubber Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production needs.
  • Adhere to ISO 90001.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Wear protective safety equipment.
  • May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heavy machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
  • Stooping, bending, walking and standing for the duration of work shift.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • manual Dexterity.
  • Follow all safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
