Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Forge Press Operator to ensure the forging unit runs according to Standardized Work, Control Plan, and related plant processes. You will be responsible for product quality and safe equipment operation, supporting a clean and efficient manufacturing workflow.

The role emphasizes operating forge/trim presses, handling dies and cassettes, and performing minor maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 10 hours and manipulate parts up to 20 pounds.
• Experience operating forge press and/or trim press is a plus.
• Attention to safety and basic machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate forge press and/or trim press per Standardized Work and Control Plan.
• Repair of forging tongs as needed.
• Forge/trim cassette removal/installation as needed.
• Clean as you go mentality on the floor.
• Minor maintenance on die spray equipment/air blow off.
• Timeliness on the floor and orderly operation.
