Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Press Operator to support its forging operations in Columbus, Indiana. The role focuses on operating forge and trim presses, ensuring adherence to standardized work and quality requirements, and maintaining safe equipment operation.

Responsibilities include on-floor timeliness, cassette removal/installation, minor maintenance, and keeping a clean as-you-go work area. Ability to stand 10 hours and lift up to 20 pounds is required; experience with forging tooling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 10 hours and manipulate parts up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate forge press and/or trim press.
• Repair forging tongs as needed.
• Remove/install forge/trim cassette as needed.
• Clean as you go workspace.
