Job summary

RPI Print, a global leader in print-on-demand, seeks a skilled Press Operator to set up and run Canon iX 3200 inkjet and HP Series 3 presses, producing high-quality books and card products. Role includes general bindery duties, with overtime and weekend shifts during peak seasons, and requires flexibility in schedule.

The position is full-time with Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday schedules; weekend hours may be required during peak season.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in print manufacturing operations is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Canon iX 3200, HP Series 3 and 4 digital presses.
• Operate casing-in devices and other finishing equipment as assigned.
• Ensure orders are produced accurately and within established production timelines.
• Maintain high output without compromising product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Keep machines and work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and 5S standards.
• Follow daily production plans provided by supervisors.
• Assist in training new or less experienced operators.
• Take on additional equipment responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation:$20.00 - $25.00/hour (based on experience). FLSA non-exempt.
Schedules: Sunday - Thursday and Monday - Friday, A and B shift. Peak season scheduling requires weekend hours.
