Job description

Are you looking for a rewarding career in manufacturing? Lithotype Company is currently seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team. Come run either a new 52" web 10 color CI Flexo printing press with automatic washup, automatic registration and full camera monitoring or 33" inline 7 color offset printing press with automatic washup and full camera monitoring.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to monitor and run the press from make-ready to job completion
• Ability to train and lead a press crew and develop talent
• Troubleshoot press issues/performance
• Setting up press (jobs) with plates and anilox
• Monitoring inks during production and ink change overs
• Conduct quality checks
• Perform general maintenance and cleaning of the press
• Strong color management and ability to make inks
• Assist in job change overs and make-readies
• Loading offset sleeves
• Offset plate making and mount offset plates to sleeves
• Ability to make offset plates using Kodak Image setter and processor
• Prepare raw materials for press production
