Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a Press Operator for the day shift (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM). You will learn flexographic press operations, work with training staff, and ensure quality and production targets are met.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong mechanical aptitude. You will participate in the setup, operation, and cleanup of press equipment, with opportunities for advancement after training.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required to operate and troubleshoot press equipment.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of press operations.
• Knowledge of work orders, artwork, color cards and charts.

Responsibilities

• Work with a trainer or skilled operator to learn work orders, schedules, artwork, color cards, charts, and written instructions.
• Use hand tools and equipment to support press setup and operation.
• Learn to set up and use test equipment per procedures.
• Develop understanding of ink, impression, tension, nip feed, rewind rolls, drying, and related presswork arrangements.
• Operate press, monitor performance, and adjust to maintain quality and production requirements.
• Move materials and perform press shutdowns and minor maintenance.
• Record production and other data; keep area clean; follow safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
