We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Press Machine Operator & Small Piece Assembler.Job Summary:
The Press Machine Operator & Small Piece Assembler is responsible for operating mechanical or hydraulic press machines to form or shape metal components used in firearm production. In addition, the role involves precise manual assembly of small parts, requiring excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate press machines according to work orders and specifications
  • Monitor machines for proper operation and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
  • Inspect parts for conformance to quality standards using calipers, micrometers, or visual checks
  • Manually assemble small firearm components using hand tools and fixtures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or production drawings
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • Record production data and report any discrepancies or defects to the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience operating press machines or working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience assembling small mechanical parts is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
