Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Machine Operator for the Windsor, Colorado area. This on‑site, first‑shift role focuses on operating production equipment, maintaining quality, and documenting daily output.

Training, growth opportunities, and multiple processes are available as you learn various manufacturing operations. The position is contract-to-hire, with a 6:00 AM–2:00 PM schedule, and requires mechanical aptitude, detail orientation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and quality‑focused mindset.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to remain focused and on task throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with small parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate punch presses, force gauges, tumbling equipment, tube loaders, ultrasonic wash equipment, and other production machinery.
• Wash domes as part of the manufacturing process.
• Inspect products and accurately record dome readings.
• Learn and understand production procedures and quality standards.
• Cross-train on a variety of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Ensure all parts meet established quality specifications.
• Complete daily production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with overtime when business needs require.
