Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a maintenance technician to support can assembly presses and related equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role requires reading schematics and blueprints, performing repairs and preventive maintenance, and documenting all activities.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, operating repair tools, ensuring safety devices function correctly, and maintaining high housekeeping and policy standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with maintenance of Can Assembly Presses is expected (3–5 years).
• Ability to read procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics and charts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics and drawings related to trade requirements.
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, repair and improve machinery without supervision.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts for maintenance and setup of machines.
• Ensure safety devices function properly after repairs or installations.
• Pursue continuous improvement via preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Maintain detailed maintenance reports and documentation.
• Maintain exemplary housekeeping, safety, and policy adherence.
