Job Overview

The NYFF Press & Industry Services Coordinator manages the accreditation process for press and industry programs, including administering online applications, outreach, operations, and customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, process-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Principal Duties
Pre-festival:
  • Manage online accreditation applications via NYFF database (Eventival), ensuring accuracy
  • Review and vet applications, coordinate approvals
  • Respond to inquiries through email and in person
  • Prepare lists of approved credentials and coordinate badge production
  • Assist with administrative tasks
During festival:
  • Train and manage volunteers in the press office
  • Provide customer service and resolve issues
  • Generate attendance reports and distribute to publicity
  • Manage guest lists and check-ins
  • Handle special ticket requests and coordinate with venues
  • Manage photo assets and archiving
  • Assist publicity team with operational tasks
  • Deliver wrap-up report and archive documents
Experience and Skills Required
  • 3+ years in film festival publicity, industry, or media services
  • Poised communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized, able to handle multiple projects
  • Attention to detail, independent work capability
  • Ability to work under stress with patience
