Job summary

Alexandria Industries in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Production Operator for the extrusion press cell on the 2nd shift. You will rotate through stations, set up and run equipment, and ensure parts meet customer specifications.

• Rotate through the press cell stations (stretchers, saw, wagon loading, packing).

• Stack, stage, and load material for age ovens.
• Pack finished orders to customer specifications.

Pay or shift range: $19 USD to $25.48 USD. The anticipated pay range for this position is budgeted. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

Production Operator, Extrusion Press Cell 2nd Shift

Pay: $19.00 to $25.48 per hour
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-11:00pm

About the job

We are hiring a Production Operator for our extrusion press cell. As a Production Operator, you will rotate through different stations, so no two parts of your day are exactly alike. You will help turn aluminum into finished parts that meet customer specifications. We cross-train, so you will keep building new skills.

What a Production Operator does

• Rotate through the press cell stations: stretchers, saw, wagon loading, and packing

Preferred (not required)

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of the aluminum age cycle
