Job Overview

Press Brake Operators use computer numeric controlled (CNC) press brakes to shape metal parts and tools with precision bends. Daily tasks include using hand tools, tape measures, performing decimal and metric conversions, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal components
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment while following instructions and maintaining self‑motivation
  • Perform accurate measurements using tape measures, calipers, and other tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, including calculating bend allowances
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team members
  • Verify materials before use and report issues promptly
  • Routinely lift 40–50 lbs; occasionally up to 90 lbs
  • Stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
Qualifications
  • Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED); technical degree preferred.
  • Experience: minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

  • Willingness to support other departments as needed.
