Job summary

LR Dynamics in Ogden, UT, is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. You will set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on fabrication experience, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on press brake experience in a fabrication shop.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.
  • Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges for inspection.
  • Commitment to safety and quality; AS9100D/ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines; adjust tooling and configurations to match work orders and blueprints.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate bending and forming of components.
  • Measure and inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy using precision tools.
  • Maintain quality standards for tolerances and finishes; ensure proper documentation of work.
  • Keep a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols; perform routine equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to optimize processes and improve productivity.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and adjust as needed to maintain consistent output.
  • Maintain records of setup sheets, inspection logs, and material usage.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
