Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Press Brake Operator I to set up and operate metal bending machines in accordance with quality and quantity standards. The role requires reading safety rules, blueprints, and basic math to ensure accurate parts and maintain efficient workflow.

The candidate will perform inspections, document results, and uphold safety policies while supporting other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and simple instructions.
• Knowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Press Brake machines per quality and safety standards.
• Detect and report defective materials or conditions to management or designer.
• Perform quality inspections per documentation and control plan; document results.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and equipment; follow safety procedures.
• Uphold site efficiency standards and participate in continuous improvement for safety and quality.
• Adhere to attendance policy and assist in other areas as assigned.

OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for a Press Brake Operator I to set-up and operate metal bending machines (Press Brake) in accordance with quality/quantity standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer
• Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer
• Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan (including documentation of results)
• Identify different types of material – Aluminum, 5000 series Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Paint Grip, Galvanneal, and Galvanized
• Uphold site efficiency standards
• Learn and demonstrate continuous improvement for site Safety and Quality standards and procedures
• Meet the standards of the site attendance policy
• Assist in other work areas as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
