R&M Manufacturing in Buffalo, MN is seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator for 2nd shift. You will set up, operate, and maintain a press brake to bend sheet metal to precise specifications, reading blueprints and inspecting parts for quality.

The role requires attention to detail, basic mathematical skills, and a commitment to safety in a manufacturing setting. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints efficiently.
• Have good math ability and problem-solving skills.
• Perform precise measurements to verify conformance.
• Read work orders or blueprints for specifications and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal to specifications.
• Change dies, adjust components, and set stops when making passes.
• Measure finished parts with micrometers, gauges, or calipers.
• Read blueprints to determine materials, locations, and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist with related duties.
