Job summary

The Jor-Mac Company is seeking a 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator in Oshkosh, WI. You will set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal parts, interpreting blueprints and production schedules while maintaining safety standards.

Typical shift is Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM. A $1,250 sign-on bonus is available for eligible new hires. Prior CNC or press brake experience is preferred, along with a commitment to quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating press brake machinery or similar metal fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math skills for measurements and bend calculations.

The2nd Shift Press Brake Operator (Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM) plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by accurately bending and shaping metal components according to precise specifications.

This position ensures production goals are met during second shift operations by safely and efficiently operating press brake machinery. The operator is responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up equipment, and making precise adjustments to produce high-quality finished parts.

Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintaining product integrity, equipment performance, and workplace safety. This role is key to delivering consistent, accurate metal fabrications on schedule.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating press brake machinery or similar metal fabrication equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Basic math skills for measurements and bend calculations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in press brake operation or metal fabrication
• Experience in a manufacturing or shift-based production environment
• Familiarity with CNC press brake programming and operation
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
