Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation in Lebanon, NH is seeking a press brake operator to set up, operate and program a press brake to produce quality parts safely and efficiently.

You will prepare equipment, perform first-piece inspections, assist with training, and collaborate with the team to meet production goals while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare production equipment for operation by making necessary setup adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers.
• Maintain quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspections, completing production control charts, analyzing data, and making equipment adjustments as needed
• Assist in training others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures and best practices.
• Solve production process problems, make equipment adjustments, and report production and quality data. Communicate decisions made and refer questions to the supervisor as necessary
• Follow policies and procedures to maintain production operations, including managing equipment, raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. Report needed changes
• Ensure the proper operation of equipment by adhering to preventative maintenance policies and procedures. Report needed changes and repairs
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results, cooperating with team members, and accepting re-assignments as directed by supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals and team objectives
