Job summary

Henny Penny Corporation is seeking a Press Brake Operator to set up tooling and operate hydraulic press brakes on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will handle tooling, interpret drawings, and ensure Kanban workflow and QA compliance.

Strong math, reading drawings, and basic computer skills are required. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of press brake experience, can lift up to 100 lbs, and have completed HP Press Brake training or similar experience.

Qualifications

• 1- 3 years of press brake operating experience.
• Ability to frequently move objects up to 100 lbs.
• Completed the HP Press Brake Class or has previous Press Brake experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Ability to understand manufacturing processes such as Kanban, JDE, BOM viewer, etc.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Programming and operating a Cincinnati or Amada hydraulic press brake.
• Working knowledge of tooling in department assigned.
• Interpret Fab to Order and run parts in a timely manner.
• Write and set up programs for one and two bend jobs.
• Identify material types and dispose scrap per QA.
• Use JDE functions (Kanban cards, status/history).
• Maintain drawings, non-Cad process sheets, Fab to Order and operating instructions.
• Model Team Member Behaviors and Henny Penny core values.
