Job summary

K&S Manufacturing Ixonia, Wisconsin, is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our metal fabrication team. You will read customer and internal drawings, program and operate Bystronic or Accurpress press brakes, and inspect parts against blueprints using precision tools.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety. A minimum of 1 year of press brake experience and strong blueprint reading skills are required; ERP or manufacturing software experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1-year prior Press Brake experience.
Ability to read customer and internal drawings.
Ability to perform machine setups, tooling changes, and make basic programming adjustments.
Solid working knowledge of blueprint reading and shop math.
Capable of working in a team environment.
Must be reliable with good attendance.

Responsibilities

Read customer and internal drawings.
Program, set up, and operate Bystronic or Accurpress Press Brakes.
Inspect parts by comparing to blueprints using height stand, calipers, etc.
Run production efficiently and collaborate with engineering on prototyping projects.
Work within customer and internal tolerances and specifications.
Complete and maintain accurate shop paperwork.
Perform daily 6S duties.
