Job summary

Award Staffing is seeking a Press Brake Operator in Rogers, MN. This full-time role requires you to program and operate brake presses, perform QA on formed parts, and log workflows in the ERP system.

The position offers a 1st shift schedule, Mon-Fri, with pay between $24 and $30 per hour. Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, experience in sheet metal fabrication, and the ability to read tape measures, calipers, and protractors.

Job description

Daily functions:

Communicate with the lead throughout the day regarding what needs to be formed and when it is due.
Program and operate press brakes, folding brakes, and perform QA operations on parts formed (Aluminum, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel).
Log all the time and operations through the company’s ERP software.
Setup, program, and run brake press experience required.

Desired qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Must be experienced in overall sheet metal fabrication.
Good organizational skills
Ability to read tape measure, caliper, and protractor.

Physical requirements:

Lifting 50lbs up to 75 lbs. team lift
Standing for long durations of time
Use power tools and be comfortable with them.
